Simplex NT Tombstone (1939)

Simplex NT Tombstone (1939)
You are looking at the finest model ever produced by this terrific factory. The huge dial is a stunning multicolored dramatically lit one. The chassis is the largest one the company ever made and is a massive eight-tube super-het playing on both AM and Shortwave. Marketed by the Federated Department Stores with the name plate of "Acratone" you might recognize this company today as Macy's. This deluxe receiver offers all of the best features including tone controls. The brand new green tuning eye winks as you dial from station to station. The radio has a large 8-inch full range speaker to offer the best sound quality. The cabinet is in excellent original condition and the radio retains a terrific finish. The speaker cloth and wooden knobs with the copper metal insets are also original to the radio. Les has completed his professional repairs and remarked how terrific the radio was engineered and what a super player the set is. He has added a mini-jack to the circuit allowing you to connect the set to any modern device. Offering you the unlimited choice of content, this radio will be terrific to listen to. Add a Bluetooth device for only $25. 18"H x 14"W x 10-1/2"D.  $859.00. (0961397)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
