Stromberg-Carlson 130H (1936)

Stromberg-Carlson 130H (1936)
Stromberg Carlson manufactured some of the finest radios ever made. Long known for scientific equipment and telephones, they also entered the radio craze of the 1930's. This radio is a perfect example, with a sophisticated seven-tube super-het chassis and playing both AM and Shortwave. The radio was refinished by a prior collector, and a nice job. The radio had one tiny repair to the front right corner at the bottom and a tiny 1/32" sliver along the top back edge. Hard to find, but my practiced eye found them. The radio has period correct replacement speaker cloth and the unique factory installed wood knobs. Les has done his usual complete professional repairs and the radio plays beautifully! He also added a mini-plug allowing you a infinite number of input devices and the ability to have an unlimited choice of content. Areal beauty using mixed exotic mahogany veneers and ornate matched burl. 20-1/4"W x 11-1/2"H x 10"D.  $459.00. (0961210)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
