Zenith 7000-1 Trans-Oceanic (1971)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a very nice 7000-1 both in appearance and in playing ability. Most of the 7000's play great FM. This is one of them. It also picks up AM and Shortwave extremely well. In appearance I would rank it about a 9.3 out of a possible 10. It comes with an original power cord, battery plastic holders and Log book. It was purchased at an estate sale of a radio collector. All the electrolyte capacitors and all four of the wax capacitors (see pics) were replaced. I also tuned each band to perfection. There was very little tuning done as it was right on. Usually that means it was not used a lot. If you were to buy this type of radio, you most likely would purchase my restoration service that I advertise on eBay. With shipping that could cost you $200 or more round trip to me. So you get a restored radio, one of the best I have seen for a pretty good price. One year warranty on the radio.
