Zenith 6-D-525 (1941)
(wood tube table radio w/Ingraham cabinet)

Zenith 6-D-525 (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a Black dial Pre-War Zenith in a beautiful professionally refinished solid walnut case, one of only a few Zenith cases attributed to the Ingraham Cabinet Company. This model was one of the last production runs before Zenith switched over to wartime operations. These cases really look fantastic when they have been refinished, just like the day they came off the showroom floor. The radio has a unique design where tube heat is released through slats in the top of the case, hence the nick name "Toaster." The chassis has been gone over by a pro, and everything that required changing were replaced. The radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations without any problem. The dial lamp works fine. It has its original "Z" knobs, "Z" dial pointer, and an original back in good condition. It's one of everyone's favorite models, and this one is really nice. About 11-1/2"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. Offers on any radios are always welcome!
