Emerson 511 "Moderne" (1947)

NEW!A magnificent modern creation by one of the world's largest makers of small radios and designed by one of the world's most famous industrial designers, Raymond Loewy. Could you ask for more? It's a beautiful bronze-ivory tone cabinet with dark swirls in the beetle Plaskon case. It reflects exquisite styling with a three-dimensional dial cover. The beautiful cabinet is in great condition without any cosmetic issues like cracks, chicks or breaks. The radio is playing well, picking up all my local AM stations without any problems. It has an integrated molded handle in the top. The dial has been polished, and the dial lamp really lights up a dark room at night. This same Emerson in green just sold last month on the Attic for $680. About 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.  $340.00. (1150922)
