Here is an oddity, which was made for the Federated Department Store chain as one of their house brands. You know the successor today as Macy's. This particular model is highly unusual with a dramatic front, looking like a tremendously carved front, which like the balance of the cabinet is made of metal. The wood tone finish is a painted finish. Over my four plus decades of collecting, I have seen this radio before, but never in such dramatically nice condition. The tuning is a flywheel on the right side. The radio is quite an early one and is a five tube "TRF" circuit. It receives local and powerful stations well, and requires a decent antenna. My tech has completed his professional repairs and the radio is as good of a TRF as you might wish to own. The circuit would not accept a mini-jack because of the antiquity of the electronics, which makes a Bluetooth adapter impossible. My tech added a fine cloth covered replacement power cord and Bakelite plug, exactly as it left the factory. 13-1/2"H x 10-1/4"W x 9-1/2"D.
