A one-of-a-kind design Silvertone set in Beetle Plaskon. It was originally sold by Sears Roebuck in 1940. An explosion of confetti color! I believe it was also known as the "Commentator." The case is in great condition with just one tiny 3/4" line going diagonally from the left pushbutton opening. It does not go thru the case, and is difficult to see on this Plaskon confetti markings. Original knobs, grille cloth, and four pushbuttons. The chassis has been checked completely, and everything that needed replacing was changed out. The set is playing well, picking up all my local AM stations. A hard to find radio in Beetle Plaskon. About 10"W x 6"H x 5"D.
