Offered is a large tabletop radio made by the Sparks-Withington Co., Jackson, Michigan. It is an eight-tube superhet and has been completely restored inside and out. Plays great on AM Broadcast and FM bands. Large dial lights up brightly. Chassis and large 5" x 8" oval speaker are excellent. It has a tone control and puts out rich tube-based sound. Complete electronic restoration was performed, replacing old capacitors, out of tolerance resistors, band alignment, and bad or marginal tubes. The finish appears original and is in good condition. It works very well with the internal loop antennas. External FM and AM antennas could be added easily if needed in your area (but normally should not be needed). Has a phono input so an aux cable can be added and you can use modern devices like iPod, CD Player, etc. Bluetooth receiver can be added and you can stream tunes from your phone, computer, etc. 90 day warranty. 16"W x 12"H x 9-1/2"D
