Stromberg-Carlson 125-H (1936)
Stromberg-Carlson 125-H (1936)
Sold by Phil Bartells on December 16, 2015
Listed price on date of sale - $875.00
This very rare 1936 Stromberg Carlson is a stunning radio; it would be very difficult to find a better example. It has a beautiful cabinet that has been expertly refinished with clear and black lacquers. The dial is lighted and shows in the picture of the top. It is a large tabletop with the trademark Stromberg Carlson octagonal dial. This model is highly desired and relatively expensive, as they are rare and very Art Deco. A five-tube set, it receives the AM Broadcast band and two shortwave bands. The electronics restoration (replace filters and paper caps, check resistors and tubes, align, etc.) has been done and it is warranted for 90 days. Aux input cable (iPod, CD player, etc.) can be added for $50. With that you can play your favorite tunes, and add a Bluetooth receiver for $30 to stream from your phone or other device. Weighs 19 pounds, 15"W x 9"H x 9"D.
