Sold by Jim Dennis on April 8, 2017
Listed price on date of sale - $185.00
Question: What does this incredible ivory Plaskon Emerson have in common with Aphrodite of Milos, better known as Venus de Milo? Give up? Neither one has arms! Actually, that's not the only characteristic they have in common. They're both statuesque, beautiful and structurally unflappable! This Emerson has a small inherent Plaskon characteristic and that is a small hairline (top right near handle). Insignificant in the way it looks and plays! Electronically reconditioned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and all out of tolerance resistors replaced. The six tubes are strong! An external antenna for greater sensitivity. A Jim Dennis "Work of Art" Special! If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 10-3/4"W x 7-13/16"H x 7"D.
