RCA Victor 10T (1936)

RCA Victor 10T (1936)
Sold by Keith Park on July 13, 2013
Listed price on date of sale - $950.00
This set was the ultimate RCA tombstone in 1936 with an incredible mix of veneers on a spectacular waterfall front cabinet with its original grille cloth and knobs and a brand new dial cover. The massive multi-section ten-tube chassis isn't the most cosmetically endowed, but it has been completely restored with detail to performance. Its just top of the line in every way, with its RCA "Magic Brain" RF section, coarse and fine tuning with a vernier, tone switch, fidelity control, and five bands on a unique dial that rotates the dial bands into the window and covers 150Khz to 60Mhz. And of course the iconic green tuning eye with brand new eye tube! The output is as strong as it gets in a tombstone with a 6L6 power output tube. You won't find better than this. I don't see these available for restoration very often, and when I do the ratty ones cost what a restored eight-tube set would, and I almost kept this one! Fully Restored with a Warranty. 23"H x 18-1/2"W x 13"D.
