Air Castle 106B "Bullet" (1946)
(plastic tube table radio w/Aux or BT)

Air Castle 106B "Bullet" (1946)

A ONE-DAY WONDER!

This off-brand five-tube radio, with a chassis built by Warwick Mfg. Corp. is actually somewhat rare. There is no brand marking on the dial or the cabinet, but what a cabinet! With its bold ribs, and bullet shape, it's definitely an attention grabber. I've not been able to find any information about this three-knob version, other than the center knob is a three-position tone control. It has been recapped, aligned, tubes tested strong, controls cleaned & lubricated, so it plays loud and clear across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. Really a strong player...tons of volume for a small set! The cabinet has one small crack towards the back on the side radius (see pic). It has been repaired and is structurally sound. It is very unobtrusive in its location and does not detract from the overall appeal of the design. Cabinet is molded in a natural finish and has a nice marble swirl pattern throughout. New line cord, and original back cover is still intact. 3.5mm cord installed at no extra charge for more listening options. 12-3/4"W x 7-1/2"H x 7-3/4"D.
