This radio was designed by Norman Bel Geddes, who was one of America's most prolific industrial designers of the 1930's and 1940's. He designed many table and console radios for both Emerson and Philco, as well as trains, planes and automobiles. This five-tube set has a strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays loud and strong across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. The cabinet was completely stripped and refinished using rich color spray toners, and topped off with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. Has a new back cover and extra-long line cord. A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed at no extra charge for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. Midget sized at 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 6"D.
