Zenith 5D610W (1942)
(plastic tube table radio)

Zenith 5D610W (1942)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
A ONE-DAY WONDER!

One of the last sets produced in early 1942 before production of civilian radios ceased until late 1945. This little All American Five-tube set is very sensitive, receiving stations up and down the AM (only) band with its powerful built in "famous" Zenith "Wave Magnet" antenna. It has been gone through with a strong set of tubes, new capacitors, line cord. Has the rare original black molded "Z" knobs. New crystal clear dial cover, dial face is nice and clear too (any specs seen in the photos are just dust particles). Crack free cabinet was repainted in a striking shade of green that really makes the set pop more than the original gloss white. A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed at no extra charge for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. A nice small pre-War set that won't take up a lot of room. 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D.
