Trav-Ler 630 (1937)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Trav-Ler 630 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is an unusual, possibly one-of-a-kind AM/SW Trav-Ler radio inasmuch as there is no exact schematic for it with the tube line-up used (80, 6AC5, 75, 76, 6K8, 6D6). It uses the cabinet from the model 630 and a chassis somewhere between a model 336 or 436M. But beyond that it's a looker with its multi-grain wood cabinet, brass escutcheon with new dial cover, special grille cloth and a multi-color dial illuminated by no less than four dial lamps. Cabinet was completely refinished using multiple spray toners and topped off with a light spray of clear enamel for durability and sheen. The exceptionally clean six-tube chassis has been gone through with all new wax and filter capacitors, and all out of tolerance resistors replaced. Comes with a strong tested set of tubes. As such, it requires a strong external antenna to receive stations, or use the attached 3.5mm aux cord to play your own content through the radio. 17-1/2"W x 10-1/4"H x 9-1/2"D.
