Silver-Marshall A-31 "All World Five" (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Silver-Marshall A-31 "All World Five" (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This five-tube, AM/SW small tombstone is known as a model A-31 Silver-Marshall on the schematic. Its curious nickname under the model number is the "Little Red Rooster!" More commonly known as the All World Five. Its Art Deco cabinet was refinished with multiple toners, featuring black accents, and topped off with a light coat of clear enamel. It has a brass tag on the front of the cabinet that says "Silver Marshall Manufacturing Co." with no traditional hyphen between Silver and Marshall. The chassis has been gone through with all new wax and filter capacitors, and all out of tolerance resistors replaced. Comes with a strong tested set of tubes. Nice cloth line cord and period correct grille cloth completes the extensive restoration. This set requires a long wire antenna to be connected to an external source for more distant AM and SW reception or use the 3.5 mm AUX cord to play your own audio through the radio. 14"H x 12-1/2"W x 8-1/2"D.
