Bendix 526 Catalin (1946)

SALE!  This gorgeously swirled green & black Catalin Bendix radio would be "a wonderful addition to any collection," according to Classic Plastic Radios author John Sideli. He also says this model is "An extremely stylish, successful, and unique design. Dramatic in its use of black and color seldom encountered in Catalin radios." There are no cracks or repairs, and you can tell from the photos this is an excellent example. The electronics are untested, because the cord was cut off before I purchased the radio. There aren't very many green Catalin radios, and I think this is the only one that combines green and black. It's a nice color combination for your display. Buyer pays actual shipping. Just let me know your Zip code, and I'll let you know the amount. I use FedEx Ground. There's no charge to you for packaging and packing.  Was $695.00, now $595.00.
