| The Sherwood S-7100A is a compact, solid-state AM/FM stereo receiver introduced in 1970. Highly regarded for its "tubelike" warmth and excellent tuner, the unit outputs 18 to 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms and features a highly capable phono stage. I have gone through this and replaced any bad capacitors. I replaced the burned out dial lamps with LED types. The real wood cabinet is in very nice condition with a few minor mars and dings. Receives fairly well on the internal antenna system but has binding posts for external antennas. Line and phono inputs, and outputs for four speakers. I've seen these on eBay asking well over $300. I need room on my radio shelves, so I'm pricing this to sell. If you are looking for an amp to handle that turntable for your vinyl collection, this should do the job very nicely. 18"W x 6"H x 14"D. Roughly 25 pounds. |
