Robert Levin's Radio Attic
"Selling radios at the Radio Attic since May 2018"
Stewart-Warner R1252A (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)
|
1934 Stewart-Warner model R1252A, the "Berkley." Five tubes, AM and Shortwave reception. Cabinet was professionally finished a few years ago and looks great. The dial lights nicely and the indicator does move smoothly as designed. Original knobs. It was playing well a couple years ago but I tested it before listing it on the Attic and it hums so caps will have to be replaced. Radio is sold as unrestored and as-is. 17"H x 14-1/2"W x 9"D. A very nice radio at a great price as I am thinning the herd. I can deliver to Kutztown. I accept Zelle or mailed checks. Let me know your address for a shipping quote. I use FedEx Ground and get a nice discount so it will be cheaper and safer than the USPS. $349.00. (1650679)
