| A fantastic addition to any radio collection! 1936 Kadette Model K-12 known as the "Classic." Five tubes, AM reception. This is the nicest Kadette model K that I've ever seen as they are fragile and often have severe damage. Rare ivory and green Plaskon case (top and body). The grille on front and back and the knobs are Tenite. Note the Tenite grilles have no warping which is amazing! There are three small tight 1/2" stress lines that do not detract and are common to Plaskon. New dial cover, original knobs, new power cord. The chassis has been recapped and all other components such as tubes and resistors have been tested and replaced where bad or failing. Radio plays well along the dial with the attached antenna wire. Knobs turn and work as designed. First time offered on The Attic! Please refer to all photos as they are the give the best description of the radio. 9-1/4"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. Will be expertly packed in an oversized box and sent fully insured. I accept Zelle or mailed/emailed checks. |
