Truetone D724 "Globetrotter" (1938)

NEW!1938 Truetone radio model D724. Known as "The Globetrotter." Eight tubes, AM/SW/Pol reception. All capacitors were replaced and other components such as resistors and tubes have been checked and replaced where necessary. New bright green eye tube. A new power cord has been installed. The dial and dial glass are excellent! The radio is a very good performer but of course reception depends on your location. The cabinet was professionally stripped and refinished with high-quality products. The original knobs are with the set. A new, period-correct reproduction grille cloth was installed. 20"H x 11-1/2"D x 9-1/2"D. Will be expertly packed and promptly shipped. From a smoke free home. Shipping via FedEx Ground/Home fully insured is $25 anywhere in the continental USA. I accept Venmo, Zelle or emailed checks (front and back). I no longer accept PayPal or mailed checks.
