 Here is a rather rare one. Very difficult to find Majestic in this cabinet version characterized by a striking, large, ornate brass dial bezel featuring the iconic Majestic Eagle and bright lighted dial. Same eagle also prominently part of lighted dial. I believe it is the very first time a model 60 has come up for sale on The Attic. I have had the tombstone version with same "look,", but personally, in my decades of collecting, it is the first one of this version I have ever seen. Just a beautiful example of waterfall top & wraparound end. It was electronically restored by previous owner & plays very well with attached antenna. I will include his schematic/work sheet. The reception is excellent on AM Broadcast (very slight hum at startup), and shortwave band, tho not much on SW & mainly in evenings. Also, the volume control, tone and band controls have separate indicator windows which are lighted. Clean chassis as well. The cabinet has been refinished using the beautiful toning accents. Original Majestic knobs, bezel, dial, speaker, etc. Exceptional piece for any collection. 14-1/2"W 8"H x 10"D. $495.00. (1640396) |
