SALE! Giddyup Kemo Sabe. You are buying a beautiful, highly collectible & extremely rare Lone Ranger Airline tube radio from 1951. Manufactured by Montgomery Ward of Chicago, IL. Based on a Western novel about a Texas Ranger who was the lone survivor of six total. Radio is in excellent condition as seen in photos. I can find no flaws & since it has been in my smoke free collection for near 15 years I kind of hate to see it go. They are very difficult to find especially for sale. Molded plastic with attached molded plastic high relief image of The Lone Ranger which lights up when radio on. It works well with attached short antenna. Doubt you will find another in this condition, especially For Sale. Knobs, dials, & back + most of factory paper decal on bottom + very clean rust-free chassis. The "Airline Lone Ranger" refers to a popular, collectible vintage radio from the 1950s, made by Montgomery Ward under their "Airline" brand, featuring the iconic masked hero from the radio show. These hard plastic radios often have a 3D image of the Lone Ranger on his horse, Silver, and were prized by fans of the famous radio drama. Approx. 7-1/2"W x 5-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D. Was $850.00, now $765.00. (1640375) |
