Majestic 651 "Triple Fin" (1937)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Majestic 651 "Triple Fin" (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a beauty for sure; called the "Triple Fin" for obvious reasons. Very nice condition with wrap around molded fins and waterfall top. Bakelite case has a nice shine showing lots of mottling or swirling. Original Bakelite back is present and also without cracks, chips or repairs as well. Dial lights nicely. Radio has been recapped and all other components have been checked and replaced where failed or weak. Six-tuber that receives stations very well, picking up all my locals & beyond. Not sure of the actual rarity, but it is rare to find one for sale. Tough to find a more Art Deco looking radio than these Majestic radios from the late 1930s with its curved bullet shape. This case is in mint condition, no cosmetic issues, no chips, cracks or other blemishes. Original bullet knobs, molded Bakelite case in this condition that also includes back, speaker, & two factory tags on a very clean rust free chassis. About 11"W x 8"H x 6-1/2"D.
