Here is an excellent "Detrola Junior" from 1939. I've seen this same miniature radio as Silvertone and Truetone. This set has no cracks or chips, and the mottled brown Bakelite case still retains its original sheen. My Tech Friend Tom repaired this one for me, but I don't see his repair tag in it. I do see the new electrolytic caps under the chassis. On test while I sit here, it played well for me using its own string antenna. 6-1/2"W x 5"H x 4"D. $395.00. (1620015) |
