This is the uncommon pre-war version of these big-dial Crosley table sets, made in 1941 for the '42 model year, with a more compact cabinet and without the wrap-around grille bars. Amazingly, this seems to be the first of this particular model to be offered on the Attic in 20 years. It's a five-tuber and has been fully serviced, recapped, aligned, and had a new power cord installed. Also includes an aux input so you can pick what you play. The cabinet has been nicely refinished and the grille cloth is new. I suspect that the dial lens is also a modern replacement since it's so clear. The previous owner fashioned a new replacement back for the set as well. Everything else is original. The big dial lights up nicely and the side-firing speaker sounds good. A nice, solid example of this radio. As always, I will pack this well to ensure it makes its trip safely to you. 14-1/2"W x 10"H x 8"D. $225.00. (1560066)
