Zenith C-725C Super Sapphire (1959)
(plastic tube table radio w/FM)

Zenith C-725C Super Sapphire (1959)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Zenith's AM/FM radios from the late 50s and early 60s are great performers with good sound. They kept this basic chassis in production for many years in a variety of cabinet styles and they sold very well. The restoration of this one included a full cut and polish on the plastic cabinet, removing years of wear and tear and bringing it to a like-new shine on all visible surfaces. The chassis has also been fully restored, with a strong set of tubes, all electrolytic and paper capacitors replaced, new resistors where needed, an IF transformer rebuild to eliminate "silver mica disease," and a meticulous alignment on both bands for excellent sensitivity, dial calibration, and sound quality. Use it as designed for AM/FM over-the-air listening, or add my Better Bluetooth option to listen to your own music. Shipping just $25 to 48 states. 13-1/2"W x 8-1/2"H x 8"D.
