Zenith 7-H-822 "Triumph" (1949)
(Bakelite tube table radio w/FM)

Zenith 7-H-822 "Triumph" (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great post-War Zenith radio that is wonderful to listen to, because you can tune in both AM and FM broadcasting stations. This model was an early Zenith entry into both AM and FM bandwidths. These early diagonal dial Zenith sets are very difficult to find with the brass Zenith eagle emblem still on the case. Most have been pulled off the case by naughty children! This beautiful dark brown Bakelite case has no chips, cracks, or other cosmetic issues. There are two bands. Tuning in all my local AM and FM stations clearly, and many distant stations. Three front knobs for off/on, band, and tuning. A great part of Zenith history and unique case design, as well as a great set to hear a wide variety of programming. One of my favorite models, and sold at an original price of $49.95, not a cheap radio! $50 from 1949 in today's dollars would be $675! Yikes! About 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. Nice set!
