General Electric J-62 "Treasure Chest" (1946)

General Electric J-62 "Treasure Chest" (1946)
NEW!GE, after the war, shifted design emphasis from Large to more "gentleman's radio" to compete with the growing influence of Bakelite and plastic sets. This is a three band, six-tube set with a large Rola, resulting in a better tone quality. The unusual Flying Buttress design is executed in American walnut. The set is restored inside and out. 15"W x 11"H x 9"D.  $545.00. (1100294)
