Detrola 175E (1937)

Detrola 175E (1937)
Detrola marketed their 175E (E for eyetube) in 1937, and sold it under Truetone, Aria, Silvertone, and of course, Detrola. The electro/mechanical tuning was a huge innovation for the day. Popular in all nameplates, the sets are getting scarce today. This set is restored inside and out. Clean chassis, new speaker harness, and an aux input added for modern devices. Refinished in lacquer and hand buffed to a gloss finish. Plays well on AM and SW. Tuning works as it should. 22"W x 12"H x 11"D.  $925.00. (1100290)
