 I am extremely fond of most RCA products as they offer very advanced electronics and super reliable service. This radio is a full range broadcast/shortwave radio with terrific performance characteristics. The radio is a five-tube model, super-het chassis which was the best technology of the time. This kind of tube line up offers a tremendous level of reception. The radio offers both AM (broadcast) and shortwave. The radio has an fine refinish and shows just a tad of wear for the 85 years of service. The speaker cloth is original and beautiful, and the knobs both are the factory installed ones from 85 years ago. My technician has done a complete restoration and the radio plays like new. His professional repairs include a mini-jack to allow you to connect the radio to any modern device. This will allow you to choose your own content using your phone, pad or computer.
