DeForest Crosley 506A (1933)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)
DeForest Crosley 506A (1933)
The cabinet is in factory original condition and shows an acceptable level of wear for the 85+ years of service. I believe the cabinet is made of mahogany, with either butt burl of some exotic type of veneer on the front. Note the exquisite hand laid inlay in a diamond pattern further enhancing the front. The radio is complete with handles on either end, so it resembles a fine English tea caddy. The dial configuration is unique as well with a bright and colorful left/right position. The radio is a deluxe receiver working off a sophisticated seven-tube superhet chassis. This model also offers a tone control to allow your tapering of the sound to content and tastes. You might note the shortwave is measured in meters: very British. Everything, speaker cloth and knobs are factory originals. My professional technician as restored the radio to a "like new" operating condition. He is highly impressed with the sophisticated electronic; but the Canadians made superior radios in the time line. His addition of an mini-jack allows your connection to any modern type of device. AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 18"W x 10-1/4"H x 9"D.  $995.00. (0961724)
We proudly announce a terrific additional item to our shop!  This is a low battery power full FCC compliant am transmitter!  It will work with all of your radios and the ones purchased here.  In addition, it is also a Bluetooth device and digital fm receiver.  Now you can finally listen to FM through your entire radio collection!  THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH A PURCHASE OF ONE OF OUR RADIOS FOR ONLY $99.99!  Giving these innovated products a complete test both I and my tech give the device two thumbs UP!

All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
