They were an engineer-based company and perfection was the goal. This radio is a great example offering both AM and Shortwave from a seven-tube super-het chassis. The cabinet is made from the finest American walnut in an "industrial age" style. The condition is very good with a high gloss refinished cabinet. The speaker cloth is also reproduction and the match to original. The knobs are factory originals. My tech has completed his professional repairs and returned this fine radio to a factory new playing condition. The radio is the second to the largest S-C tombstone model and a joy to listen to.
