Sparton 528 Tombstone (1938)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)
Sparton 528 Tombstone (1938)
You are looking at a terrific radio. The cabinet in original finish is an unusual form with dramatic use of veneers. The radio makes a dramatic look, accented with glossy black strips over the grille. The original finish is very good for the 82+ years, with replacement speaker cloth and unique embossed factory Bakelite knobs. The radio is a fantastic receiver offering both AM and shortwave. The sophisticated six-tube super-het chassis with a brand new bright green tuning eye is sure to please. The radio offers a large full range speaker for a "big room" sound quality. The radio offers a full range tone control to allow a best setting for your listening tastes. My technician has done a complete repair returning the radio to a factory like new condition. The reception is terrific and the large and contoured cabinet adds to the resonance. The tuning eye, winks with a great level of sensitivity offering optimal tuning. The mini-jack is added to the circuit allowing your connection to any modern device. Now you can enjoy any kind of content from you input device! AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 21-1/4"H x 16-1/2"W x 13"D.  $895.00. (0961569)
We proudly announce a terrific additional item to our shop!  This is a low battery power full FCC compliant am transmitter!  It will work with all of your radios and the ones purchased here.  In addition, it is also a Bluetooth device and digital fm receiver.  Now you can finally listen to FM through your entire radio collection!  THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH A PURCHASE OF ONE OF OUR RADIOS FOR ONLY $99.99!  Giving these innovated products a complete test both I and my tech give the device two thumbs UP!

All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
