Triangle Industries 8U-127 Tombstone (1939)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Triangle Industries 8U-127 Tombstone (1939)

You are looking at a very scarce and fantastic radio. The radio is actually a Wells-Gardner marketed under the Triangle label. The company made few under their own label but served the best of the major retailers with house brand labels. This radio offers AM and Shortwave with a deluxe eight-tube chassis and a super sensitive tuning eye. The cabinet is unusually large to house a full range 8-inch speaker. The radio from an electronic standpoint is superb. The cabinet is dramatic in scale to accommodate the high tube count along with an elaborate chevron veneer pattern on the waterfall and top. All is factory original and in amazing condition for the age. Note the unique wood knobs. My technician has completed his repairs and reports the radio is like new. His work and experience is so exceptional so when he remarks on the performance you can bet it is special. The radio has a mini-jack installed allowing you connection of any modern type of device. AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 22-1/2"H x 16-1/2"W x 11-1/2"D.  $799.00. (0961511)
We proudly announce a terrific additional item to our shop!  This is a low battery power full FCC compliant am transmitter!  It will work with all of your radios and the ones purchased here.  In addition, it is also a Bluetooth device and digital fm receiver.  Now you can finally listen to FM through your entire radio collection!  THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH A PURCHASE OF ONE OF OUR RADIOS FOR ONLY $99.99!  Giving these innovated products a complete test both I and my tech give the device two thumbs UP!

All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
