![]() THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A scarce radio with a hard-to-find history, this is exactly the same as the pre-War Emersonette 255 from around 1939. I've seen one other white Plaskon version with the name American Ace and it had the same dark green and bright red knobs. The case is very clean and has just a stress line at the upper right of the dial, which is not uncommon for these cases. Otherwise, there are no cracks, chips or discoloring anywhere. The dial string has frayed and will need replacing. Someone worked on the chassis a while ago; I have not tested it so assume it's non-operating. |
