Philco 70 (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)
Philco 70 (1932)
A true classic is the Philco 70 cathedral with seven tubes. The electrolytics have been replaced with new, so there is a good clear sound with no hum and all of the capacitors have also been replaced with new long lasting ones. Some resistors have also been replaced too. All tubes were checked and some replaced if needed and now they all meet specs. Has a good speaker cloth. I have replaced the old tattered power cord with a vintage type cloth covered on and antique plug. It has very nice finish. It brings in many stations with good clarity from the nice original speaker. The set has been aligned and weighs 29 lbs. 18"H x 16"W x 10-1/2"D.  $325.00. (0021614)
