A red TR1! Not seen very often. First production transistor radio from 1954. Radio does not play, but I could hear some stain when I put a battery in it. A recap would probably be in order. Beautiful Art Deco AM/SW radio from 1937. Manufactured by Detrola for Truetone. Seven tubes with AM and two SW bands. Cabinet is in very nice condition with original knobs, dial, glass dial cover and escutcheon. Grille cloth is a replacement. Radio has been serviced and plays well on all bands with a long length of wire. This is a very rare find. 18"W x 11"H x 9"D. $900.00. (0390439)

This is a very nice version of this Trans-Oceanic from 1948. Reception on all six bands. BC and five Shortwave. Cabinet is in very nice condition and has the Wave Booster Shortwave Magnet Antenna. Instructions and log in very good condition. Has been serviced with a new power cord, weak tubes replaced and all paper and wax capacitors. 17"W x 12"H x 8"D. $249.00. (0390442)
