Firestone 4C-48 (1960)
(plastic transistor shirtpocket radio)

Firestone 4C-48 (1960)

NEW!The Air Chief radios were sold at the Firestone Tire stores. This eight-transistor AM radio was made in Japan in 1960. It has the reverse painted tuning area and has no cracks or chips. The grille is slightly pushed in a bit. It takes two "AA" batteries but it does not receive any stations; when turned on all that is heard is noise. It does come with a leather carrying case in excellent condition. 4-1/4"H x 2-3/4"W x 1-1/4"D.  $90.00. (1910010)
