THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Hitachi produced this small six-transistor AM radio in 1959. The optional speaker box increases the volume and improves the tone when the radio is plugged into it. The radio works with or without the speaker box. The radio has the beautiful reverse painted tuning area, and is unusual for this era, since there are no Civil Defense marks on the tuning dial. The radio is in very good condition, the only defect is a small chip near the earphone jack on the top. 4"W x 2-1/2"H x 1-1/8"D.
