THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Five-tube Mid Century Modern Philco Transitone with a unique switch on the back for Broadcast and the old Civil Defense Special Services Band. Cabinet is molded in solid Ivory/Vanilla Polystyrene. It has a heat stress crack on the top that has been reinforced on the inside (see top pic). But overall it's a very nice-looking radio, and displays well, with a beautiful dial that really glows in a dark room. It has a strong tested set of tubes, new line cord, been recapped, mica replaced in IF Transformer, controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays strong across the dial with its built-in large stick antenna or use the attached included free of charge 3.5mm aux cord to play your own audio content through the radio. 11-1/4"W x 6"H x 7"D.
