THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! A ONE-DAY WONDER!

Rare Firestone Air Chief model, only the second example to appear on the Attic. Featuring six tubes, AM/Shortwave, a large 7-inch diameter speaker, original wood knobs, and a gorgeous multi-color dial. Features a set of strong tested tubes, all capacitors have been replaced. Controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. It requires an external antenna to be attached to receive short wave and more distant AM stations. Its cabinet has been totally refinished, with multiple shades of spray toner, and topped with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. Original grille cloth. Plus, I added my aux 3.5 mm cord at no extra charge to allow even more listening options beyond what you find on the AM band. If you like radios with bold, colorful dials that really pop in a dark room, here's a fine example at a great price. 17-1/2"W x 11-1/4"H x 10"D.
