DeWald 555 "Cash Register" (1939)

NEW!One of the fun parts of radio collecting is finding really rare versions of radios. This 1939 DeWald "Cash Register" is certainly a unique design, and even when you do find it, it's usually in brown Bakelite. This is the rare Plaskon version, and the details of the design stand out more in beautiful ivory. There are no cracks, but as with too many Plaskon radios, this one has some stress lines. There's one on the left side that doesn't affect how well it displays, and a couple more on the bottom that don't affect the display at all. The radio turns on and lights up, but doesn't produce audio. Be the only radio collector on your block to have one of these! About 9"W x 9"H x 7"D.  $595.00. (1690002)
