RCA 75X18 "Chinese" Motif (1939)

RCA 75X18 "Chinese" Motif (1939)
FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!  I have seen at least 100 RCA Chinese motif radios in my 40+ years of collecting. They came in black (most common), red (difficult to find), and white (rare). I have personally owned at least a dozen sets, almost all were black. As I recall it, they were hand painted at the RCA factory prior to assembly, and no two are alike. I kept the best one of each of the three variants of these radios. This red variant is difficult to find and the best of the three I've owned. The radio has no cracks or chips. There is light wear to the highest relief of the painting, and some very small white paint spots. To my knowledge, this is the first red one to sell on Radio Attic. Tom Romano of Tom's Antique Radio & TV repaired this one for me in 2007. On test while I sit here, it played well for me. It took a lot of years to get one of each of these sets. If you'd like the set of three before someone buys an individual, $1,195 will buy all three. 10"W x 8"H x 7-1/2"D.  $495.00. (1620025)
