Stewart-Warner 07-5B3Q "Dionne Quints" Motif (Sr. Varsity Style, 1939)

Stewart-Warner 07-5B3Q "Dionne Quints" Motif (Sr. Varsity Style, 1939)
FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!  I have seen less than ten Stewart-Warner Dionne Quints radios in my 40+ years of collecting. I have personally owned five of these, as my Mother was an avid Dionne Quint collector. We actually vacationed in Canada, and met one of the Quints when I was in my early teens. The five Dionnes were the first set of quintuplets to survive birth, and were a huge sensation in Canada and the USA in the early 30s. I kept one of each of the three variants of these radios. This 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D five-tube "Senior Varsity" variant is the rarest, and this is the only one I have ever personally seen. The original $19.95 sale price is still penciled on the back. There are no cracks or chips, but there are numerous paint chips, and touch up to the paint on this radio. Again, it is the only one I've ever seen. Quint decals are 95+%. I do not know the repair history of this set, but on test, it plays with a light hum, and picks up a number of stations. It took a lot of years to get one of each of these sets. If you'd like the set of three before someone buys an individual, $1,995 will buy all three.  $995.00. (1620011)
