Zenith 10-S-130 Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Zenith 10-S-130 Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This particular ten-tube, four-band (SB, SWx2, police) Zenith radio from 1937 is a standout! Possibly the rarest Zenith Tombstone radio, next to impossible to find. The 10-S-130 tombstone uses the same big chassis found in three larger 1937 console radios, the 10-S-160, 10-S-155 and the 10-S-153. This chassis has multiple tone control, "target tuning," spinner tuning, and sensitivity control. The radio has some features from its big brother 12-U-159, top of the line console, like the side-vented pilasters, and the bold "square circle" Art Deco design. This beautiful radio has been completely restored in and out. Blake did the chassis work and Gary refinished the radio. It retains its original knobs, 8-inch speaker (unique to this radio) and with the two 6L6 power tubes offering a strong 12 watt push-pull audio. It's a rare "must-have" radio for Zenith collectors. 22"H x 17"W x 12"D. Due to the weight of this large radio, we will ship by Greyhound. Call for shipping details and costs.
