| This receiver was made for 24/7 operation as in studio monitoring, background music, etc. They also were part of a high quality Ampex home system. Extreme reliability was the focus and all components were top quality. A unique feature was simultaneous reception of AM and FM. Two tuners! It is FM mono but there is a multiplex input for an Ampex multiplex adapter (not included). I only tested the tubes, made sure it works and cleaned off the dust. No other repairs or tests made. The blue signal indicator tubes are bright and clear, and worth as much as the whole tuner. |
