Zenith 6-D-311 (1938)
(plastic tube table radio)

Zenith 6-D-311 (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

With its alluring half crescent gold dial and its wrap around grille, this small Art Deco influenced Zenith made quite a big hit, as anything that was designed by their chief designer, Robert Budlong, usually did. The case has been hand polished, looking quite lovely. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays superb on the AM Broadcast band. I've added an MP3 input for your listening enjoyment should you wish listen to your own supplied music instead of the standard broadcast band. Please note that I have carefully repaired a small fissure at the bottom base seam with a commercial resin. You likely won't see it due to its location. 11"W x 6-1/2"H x 6"D.
