Arvin 518 "Phantom Baby" AM/SW (1937)

Arvin 518 "Phantom Baby" AM/SW (1937)
Wow, Arvin had a really big hit on their hands with their "Phantom" series sets. Even then everybody wanted one, and now they are highly desirable and sought out by collectors. With its sprocket style knobs, round illuminated reverse painted dial and squatty body, it's a tombstone that's easy on the eyes and a joy to own. The cabinet has been lovingly restored to closely match the color combinations as when it was new. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays nicely on the AM and both Shortwave broadcast bands, just extend its antenna. 9-1/4"W x 8-3/4"H x 7-1/4"D.  $289.00.
