Emerson 32 (1934)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Emerson 32 (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Not what you'd expect from a 1934 model radio! Advanced beyond its years with a Super-Heterodyne circuit that sounds like gangbusters and pulls in both AM and Shortwave broadcast stations amazingly well (original SW band switch in the back). I believe this is the first time this model has been offered for sale on The Attic, which an indication it is not a model you see very often. This one must have been really loved and cared for, considering it is 80 years old and has its original finish, grille cloth, the back and so forth. This one comes out of my personal collection and it has been on a shelf in my office, admired daily. The cabinet, which I believe to have been produced for Emerson by Ingraham, has not been touched up, just carefully polished and boy does it shine. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and internally fused for your safety), it even has the original antenna wire in a hard cardboard keeper, plus has an era correct cloth power cord and original Bakelite plug. I've added an MP3 input for your listening enjoyment should you wish listen to your own supplied music, such as the Charioteers or Gene Kupra. 11"W x 8-3/4"H x 6"D.
